Rockies Are Headed Back to Denver

by Steve Scheer on October 13, 2007

If you have been reading you know I am a little more invested in the Rockies series because of my friendly blogging wager with Phoenix real estate blogger Steve Belt.  You can read about the wager here or here

RocktoberYesterday, my kids had a special day at school where they were to all wear their Rockies colors, it is Rocktober after all.  I am posting this photo just for you Steve B.  I thought you would like it.

The Rockies and Diamondbacks are probably still sleeping this morning here in Denver after their journey back last night.  When they awake, they will find the chill and fog that has covered Denver.  That's right – a cold front is moving in.  Right now tomorrow's game time forecast is a first pitch temperature in the upper 40's with possible showers.  Brrrrr….

Monday night's game sounds a bit warmer and drier, perhaps its will be the perfect weather for a big celebration afterwards.

Ok, back to Denver real estate

Steve, my husband has been up late every night watching the games, and he is a football fan! I am hoping for snow during the game…either there or the Broncos game. It always makes my phone ring with people wanting to rent my condo. :) Can you tell I am not a baseball fan? I never have figured out how they manage to fit 15 minutes of excitement into 3 hours!

Joanne, you are quite funny! I can see how that would make your phone ring. You may get your wish tomorrow, we’ll see. They should at least be talking about it I would think.
Although its not too cold right now, I am bringing my heavier fall coat to my daughter’s soccer game shortly – you know how it can turn on a dime here.

Dback’s in seven?

It’s not looking too good for Mr. Belt….

Mr. Belt’s a good sport though Jay. He is still holding out hope it seems. I, however haven’t chuckled over sports like this in a long time.
It’s thundering out right now here in the south metro area. I can’t remember when the last time we still had thunder & lightening in October was.
