Where Are You Going to Watch Rockies Game 4 Tonight?

by Steve Scheer on October 15, 2007

colorado rockiesThe way I see it, everyone in town is going to be watching the Rockies tonight (and let's face it – even those that aren't that into this will most likely still be flipping back and forth just to see) and we all have several of the same options.

1.  You could go to the game.  If you have tickets that is.  Of course, technically, the game is sold out.  You could still try your luck at Craigslist or just call some brokers I suppose, but prices are handsome for the game if you can even find what you want.  If you do go, bundle up – although we won't see rain tonight, it may even be chillier than last night.

2.  Hang out at home.  Invite some friends over or just hang out with your family – or if you happen to be an AZ transplant, you may want to watch in solitude.  It could get sad for you.  But who knows – you still have a chance, right?

3.  Decide to make this a party and head out on the town.  Sure downtown will be a zoo and some of us still will need to get up and work in the morning but there are still plenty of great options to get out of the house and watch the game here in the south suburbs.  If you are new to the area, you may need a quick reference to decide what is best, fast.  The first pitch is after all in just  5 or 6 hours.  Here are a few of my favorites:

Landsdowne Arms in Highlands Ranch Town Center

Big Bills Pizza in Centennial at County Line and Holly

CHAMPPS – either location has many tv's – at Park Meadows in Lone Tree or Aspen Grove in Littleton

CB Potts in Greenwood Village or Highlands Ranch  – I like this Highlands Ranch location because there are plenty of tv's and a great kids meal menu as well.

LoDo's Bar & Grill in Highlands Ranch at Quebec and C470 – This location is sure to be lively as its sister site is a baseball's throw from Coors Field.  I am sure they plan to carry the enthusiasm down this way.

Dewey's in Highlands Ranch

Jackson's Sports Grill – DTC on Yosemite & Belleview- on top of the fun sports atmosphere – they have really great burgers – which is an added bonus.

GO ROCKIES!

If you have been following my friendly wager with Phoenix real estate blogger Steve Belt, I want to let you know that he is looking forward to his guest appearance here.
