Living in Highlands Ranch – Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot

Edited for 2010 Info: Here is where you can register this year, 2010:
Looking to get some fresh air and exercise before your Thanksgiving Feast?
If you live in Highlands Ranch there are always activities to participate in and Thanksgiving is no exception.

The annual Chamber of Commerce Turkey Trot takes place in Redstone Park on Thanksgiving morning.

The race begins and ends at Shea Stadium at the west side of the park and a 5k course will guide you through the surrounding Westridge Pointe neighborhood, through the awesome Highlands Ranch trails that run between neighborhoods and then back to Shea Stadium.
Registration begins at 7:30 am with the 5K race starting at 9am.  There is then a Kids Fun Run at 10am, followed by activities after the race.
If you are looking to register, walk in registrations are still be taken (through Wednesday) at the Running Wild store on County Line Rd, or you can register online through the 20th.  There are also race day registrations in Redstone Park.
