A few months ago, my wife guest authored on my blog and posted a compilation of preschools in and around Highlands Ranch.  If you have not yet seen it, I would suggest you take a look.

Preschools have their registration for the next year long before many are even thinking about next year.  If you are new to Highlands Ranch and interested in finding a preschool for your child, you need to look into this now, or you most likely will not find an open spot for the fall. 

The Highlands Ranch preschools start having Open Houses and tours within the next few weeks and registrations quickly follow.  I remember when my now tweens were so little, and my wife got up at something crazy like 4:30 in the morning at the end of January to stand in line by 5am to get a spot.  I don't think every school is like that, but we had a specific need and for the school we wanted, that was their way and there was only 2 or 3 open spots for the age group we needed.

So check out the list, ask your friends what preschools they like and then find a fit right for you.  Not every preschool is going to be right for every child.  Not every school in the area is on her list, just the ones she knew of.  She also includes some schools outside of Highlands Ranch, such as in Littleton and Englewood and it is not uncommon to find people that live in Highlands Ranch attending preschools at neighboring towns at all.
