Another Company to Relocate to Denver – Environment Friendly Too!

by Steve Scheer on March 27, 2008

And yet another company has announced their plans to relocate to the Denver area – this time from Austin, Texas.

Yesterday, Austin based Renewable Energy Systems Americas, Inc. (RES-Americas) announced that their corporate headquarters for their renewable energy company will be moving to Broomfield.  I think it is absolutely fantastic that yet another "green" company will be based here in the Denver area.  RES-Americas is a renewable wind energy company and already has offices in Elbert and Lincoln counties.  70 employees will relocate to Denver from Austin and 70 more will be hired here for the Denver corporate office.

Governor Ritter welcomed RES-Americas with a statement expressing his pleasure of another company choosing the Denver area as its home base "RES-Americas is another tremendous example of how Colorado is being recognized as a national and international leader in renewable, modern energy."
