The Annual Farmers Market in Highlands Ranch will begin tomorrow, Sunday, May 4th.
Located in the Highlands Ranch Town Center Square green area, its become a regular stop for my own family every year. I also find that my children are more willing to try new veggies when they see them up close like that and even chat with some of the local farmers from time to time.
The Highlands Ranch Farmers market runs every Sunday from May 4th to October 26th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
Parking in the immediate Town Center area can sometimes get a bit crowded – but there is a parking garage on the east side of Town Center and additional parking on the backside of Town Center as well.
Not only are there lots of fresh fruits and veggies each week, but fresh local breads, nuts, and other treats from local vendors as well.
I particularly enjoy the findings later in the summer with the fresh corn, Rocky Ford cantaloupes and Palisade peaches!
I feel like summer is now officially on its way.
