Are you ready to start your summer? I know that I am. We’re starting June and that means school is getting out now and summer fun begins! Living in Highlands Ranch has so much to offer for fun in the summer. With tons of parks, trails, rec centers and all the swimming pools how can you go not find something to do this summer?
Besides all the recreational activities available in Highlands Ranch, there are a number of cultural events and activities. One that is always a crowd pleaser and an all around good time is the Summer Concert Series. If you have recently relocated to Highlands Ranch, this is something you are going to want to check out.
If you’re a music lover or just want to get out for an evening of fun then this is for you. I know that many folks are looking for the info as I am seeing many visits to my blog here on the older posts from previous years.
The series this year is of eight FREE concerts set in an outdoor venue at Highland Heritage Regional Park. These concerts are Thursday evenings from 6:30 – 8pm and really are a great way to spend some time outdoors just enjoying great music and having fun. Bring a picnic if you’d like, a blanket and relax under the stars as the sun goes down.
You want to make plans now, the concert series begins tomorrow, Thursday June 3 kicking off with local favorites Opie Gone Bad. This band is always a local favorite, with lead singer, Jake Schroeder – who you may also know as the voice of the Star Spangled Banner at the Av’s Home games.
