One event that I am really hoping to squeeze in this weekend is the Denver Chalk Art Festival. I have a busy weekend at the end of the spring sports season for my kids, but we are going to try to make it down for this.
The Denver Chalk Art Festival looks incredible – what these artists can do – simply amazing. My experience with chalk was limited to a school classroom as a child. There are no words to describe how talented these folks are.
Some of the artists from the Denver Chalk Art festival were outside the DIA Southwest Airlines terminal this week promoting the event. You can see the chalk art they created at DIA here.
The Festival is all weekend – Sat & Sun June 5 & 6th – on Larimer Square in Downtown Denver.
In addition to the artist on display, there will be a kids corner, photo contest, Youth Challenge as well as wine & beer tents.
