365 Things to Do in South Denver CO Suburbs
I have been blogging now on & off, at times more frequently than other times, for just over 3 years about Denver, Denver real estate, Denver relocation, etc.
Over that time, I have posted many, many posts about things to do in Denver, in Colorado, in Highlands Ranch – well – all over. They continue to be some of my most viewed posts.
Over time many bloggers all over the country (maybe even worldwide) have developed this into a series of an idea a day – or a 365 things to do in…series. I have been asked several times if I had planned to do that, and my answer has always been until now, probably not. Mostly because so many were already doing it in the Denver area. I was asked again recently if I had plans to do that, I figured, if people keep asking me – heck – I am posting the material anyway – might as well.
And so its done. Even though many others have done a similar concept, I must give a shout out to the one that I think has done this so well, Dale Chumbley in Vancouver, WA. If you ever have plans to go to Vancouver WA – I highly recommend you check his site out – 365 Things to Do in Vancouver, WA as its a resource you won’t want to miss. One of the things that Dale has been able to do is get his community to participate through a facebook page and that has added such depth to the conversation. I hope that our community will do that as well.
I plan to mostly focus right there where I live, work & play – in the South Denver Suburbs – you know – Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Lone Tree, Centennial, Greenwood Village, Parker, Castle Rock, Castle Pines – the Arapahoe / Douglas Counties side of Denver.
Will I ever venture outside of that boundary?
Absolutely – because that is what I do in my life – I spend as much time as I can exploring all of Colorado. On those posts I will probably start with a notation of ROAD TRIP or DAY TRIP. And while I plan to usually post something each day that you can take off on a whim and do right then and there – sometimes I will write about something that you should PLAN AHEAD.
And there you have it, so now all there is to do is sit and wait for the first post.
