Day 4 – Highlands Ranch Carnival – HR CO
Today’s location for Day 4 of 365 Things To Do In South Denver Suburbs is the Highlands Ranch Carnival. The carnival has been running in Highlands Ranch since last weekend, but it has continued throughout the week and will be wrapping up this weekend.
The traveling carnival has visited Highlands Ranch for many years now and is a place my own kids have enjoyed many times. In fact, the photos here were taken by me at the 2007 Highlands Ranch carnival. There are a variety of carnival rides and games and of course there is that oh so good but bad for you carnival food. My kids always get something deep fried and of course they share with me.
Hours for the days that are left are today (Friday 7/16) form 4:00 pm to 11pm and Saturday 1:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Head over to Mountain Vista High School parking lot and check it out. More information can be found with HRCA.
And here is a tip - if you are going to be there around sunset, bring your camera. You are in a spot for some of the best sunsets in Highlands Ranch – in fact some may say it is one of the best in all of the south Denver suburbs.
