Day 32 | Film in the Park | Highlands Ranch Civic Green Park
On Day 32 of 365 Things to Do in Denver Suburbs we kick off what appears to be one of the most event filled weekends of the summer in the entire Denver area.
A nice way to start this busy weekend off will be a film in the park. Civic Green Park in Highlands Ranch will be showing a movie for the entire family – Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs, tonight, Fri 8/13 at dusk in Civic Green Park (approximately 8:15 pm).
You should bring a blanket and snack and those Denver nights are starting to get a tad cooler too, so an extra blanket or sweatshirt would be a good idea as well.
The movie is free to all and is the second to last of the summer. The last one will be on 8/20 with the Wizard of Oz.

If you really love outdoor films, you can catch one tomorrow, Saturday 8/14 in Lone Tree as well with The Blind Side near the Lone Tree Rec Center.
Since this is such a busy weekend of wonderful events throughout the Denver area, here is sampling of things to look forward to this weekend that you can plan for. Additionally many Denver area community pools are starting to wrap things up – this begins to be the last weekend for some, for others, they switch to a weekend only schedule at this point.
