Day 38 | Highlands Ranch Civic Green Park | Film in the Park | Wizard of Oz
Today on Day 38 of 365 Things too in South Denver Suburbs, make plans tomorrow for one last session of film in the park before the Highlands Ranch outdoor film series is over for the year.
On Friday, 8/20, The Wizard of Oz will be shown in Civic Green Park and will begin at approximately 8:15 (dusk). Full details can be found here.
The movie is free – just bring a blanket and make sure you bring a sweatshirt or two, those evening are starting to get a little cooler. I would also recommend bug spray.
The HRCA and Highlands Ranch Metro Districts have had great events all summer long so as they begin to wrap up, its fun to plan to attend as many as you can.
And who doesn’t love The Wizard of Oz? Just recently on August 12th, Google celebrated the 71st Anniversary of the film with one of its infamous Google Doodles.
