Day 42 | Grand Golf Driving Range | Highlands Ranch CO
Today, on Day 42 of 365 Things To Do in South Denver Suburbs, we’re going to go to the Grand Golf driving range in Highlands Ranch. Grand Golf is a great place to practice your swing and get a little fun in too!
I’ve been going to Grand Golf for years. It is not located at a golf course. It is only a driving range and practice facility along with a miniature golf course as well. So, don’t plan on going to Grand Golf to swing the clubs and then play a round of golf.
If you go to Grand Golf and you’re like me, then you may try to hit the ball as far as you can and get it up to the street and out of the range! It’s not as easy as it looks, but be careful because you just may hit it that far.
Grand Golf lets you hit off of the practice mats as well as off a grass area. One of the things I like about hitting balls here are the targets. There’s a small island with a flag as well as other targets to aim for, not just yardage markers. They have them too. I just think the targets let you simulate real golf a bit more. You can see if you roll the ball, or even land it close to the flags.
To get to Grand Golf can be a little tricky for some people not familiar with the area or have just moved to Highlands Ranch. You can see the range from Highlands Ranch Parkway but to get to it take Quebec to the south side of the Post Office, then turn west just behind the Post Office and take the road into the facility and past the soccer fields.
Grand Golf is a fun place to go and practice and a great place to take kids to learn how to swing the clubs. My kids always get me to buy them an ice cold Gatorade in the shop afterwards. I think that may be their favorite reason to go!
