Day 45 of 365 Things to Do in South Denver suburbs is The Streets of Southglenn in Centennial, CO. The Streets of Southglenn opened last August in the location of the old Southglenn Mall and in fact will celebrate its 1 year anniversary this weekend with special events on Saturday August 28th. There will be a cake decorating contest and family entertainment with face painting & balloon artists most of the day.
The Streets of Southglenn is a beautiful lifestyle shopping and entertainment area, complete with restaurants, shopping, movie theatre, and more. There are larger stores such as Sears, Macy’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Staples and Best Buy.
But there is so much added charm as you walk through and see the boutiques, restaurants and gathering spaces.
Of course when you live in the Denver suburbs, its easy to head downtown for a night out here & there. But it has been so great to have such a nice addition to the south Denver suburbs community without having to drive far.

Hollywood Theatre – Love that you can reserve you seats & know exactly where you are sitting without having to arrive 40 minutes early to get seats.

We are also looking forward to the addition of Snooze, as my family tends to enjoy breakfasts out even more than other meals.
Overall, the layout of The Streets of Southglenn is great, it has been done beautiful with te main fountain in the middle and in the winter there was an outdoor skating rink in the same space. It has been planned well and is a pleasant place to grab a bite to eat on one of the many patios and enjoy a Colorado evening.
There are luxury apartments at The Streets of Southglenn available also, so living right there is an option as well and the library should not be missed either.
