Day 48 | Denver Area Farmer’s Markets
On Day 48 we are going to visit a local Denver area Farmer’s Market. So many of the fresh fruits and veggies that are available right here in Colorado are at their peak – if you have not been visiting a local farmer’s market, you are missing out! Some of the great produce you will find right now is corn, peaches, melons, beans – and so much more.
Over here in the Scheer house – we have really been enjoying the corn lately – several times a week we have feasted on both the Olathe sweet corn and then the peaches & cream variety. Both so good. We also love the peaches from Palisade – the giant ones are in now. And we can’t get enough of the wonderful cantaloupes and watermelons from Rocky Ford, CO.
There is many Denver farmers markets to choose from all week long and on today, on a Sunday you can visit:
Highlands Ranch Town Denver Farmers Market – Highlands Ranch
City Park Farmer’s Market - Denver
Stapleton Farmers Market – Denver
Old South Pearl Street Farmers Market – south Denver
Belmar Farmer’s Market – Lakewood
Some of our other south Denver favorite farmers markets during the week are Cherry Creek (south Denver on Saturdays), Aspen Grove (Littleton on Wednesdays), and downtown Castle Rock (Saturdays).
