Day 52 | Hudson Gardens | Littleton CO
Today on Day 52 of 365 Things To Do in South Denver Suburbs we are going to visit Hudson Gardens.
If you have not yet been to Hudson Gardens in Littleton, CO – now is your chance. For the entire month of September, admission to Hudson Gardens in Littleton is only $1! And don’t think that just because it is September that it is too late to enjoy the beauty here. Hudson Gardens is great all year round and September is no exception.
In fact, Hudson Gardens are quite beautiful now. I went today with my wife and we were impressed. Flowers were in bloom and beautiful, water lilies were thriving and home to the frogs, the bee hives were buzzing and we even saw some giant pumpkins already. So this time of year the gardens are still very alive and wonderful.
For the $1 admission to Hudson Gardens, you just can’t go wrong. It is a great place to spend an hour or less, maybe more if you really like gardening. No matter how much time you spend, the surroundings are beautiful and full of life. There is even a remarkable miniature train village that is sure to entertain the little one’s and the big kids at heart!
And in case you didn’t know, there is an entrance to Hudson Gardens right off the Platter River Trail and even a cafe area on the outside of the gardens for those on the trail to enjoy a snack or beverage.
