Day 57 | Highlands Ranch Days – September 9 – 11 | Highlands Ranch Mansion
This week marks the celebration of the 10th Year of Highlands Ranch Days so today you should mark your calendar and pencil in time to make it there. Every year, for the last 10, the Highlands Ranch mansion has become a fun filled event center for the weekend with all kinds of celebration for the folks in Highlands Ranch. The historic Highlands Ranch mansion off of South Ranch Rd is the activity center with all sorts of historic entertainment, food, demonstration tours, hay rides and more. This year will be no different, except that Highlands Ranch is celebrating 10 years of Highlands Ranch Days.
Those that have not lived in Highlands Ranch for long or have recently relocated to the Denver area, will appreciate learning the history of Highlands Ranch and seeing the role that the mansion and ranch played once upon a time in our community.
This years Highlands Ranch Days events will run from September 9 – 11, 2010 with the festivities kicking off from 9am – 1pm on 9/9 and 9/10 and then a full day on 9/11 from 9am – 2pm. Tickets are not being sold in advance, you can pay at the gate and it is $4 for adults and $2 for 2 – 12 & under 2 years is free. Saturday morning will be special with a pancake breakfast – there is additional cost for this. There will be schools visiting on Thursday and Friday and the events and demonstrations occurring will likely be aimed at that audience.
