Indigo Hill Neighborhood – Highlands Ranch, CO
There are about 400 homes in Indigo Hill, built by Village Homes between 1996 and 2002. Most of the homes have open, modern floorplans with vaulted ceilings and lots of window light. Most homes in this neighborhood range from around 1800-2800 square feet. Price range varies and changes along with the market.
Indigo Hill is in the Southridge area of Highlands Ranch and is located at the northwest corner of Broadway and Wildcat Ridge Parkway. Just adjacent to the Indigo Hill subdivision are the Sundance townhomes located on the corner of Wildcat Reserve and Broadway, just north of the Tanks Skate Park and just outside the boundry of Indigo Hill.
The Indigo Hill neighborhood of Highlands Ranch is another of the unique subdivisions within Highlands Ranch that have their own set of HOA’s and their own private pool and playground. Not many neighborhoods have these so for the residents of Indigo Hill it offers a semi private recreation opportunity just for them! There is also a community playground that is separate from the rest of the parks in Highlands Ranch and maintained separately instead of by the Highlands Ranch Metro Districts. There are plenty of trails, open space and outdoor recreation nearby for residents to enjoy. Tanks Park skate park is a local favorite for skateboarding and inline hockey. Indigo Hill is part of the Highlands Ranch Community Association but also has it’s own sub association for residents. Homeowners in Indigo Hill can visit their own sub association website to view important community documents and announcements.
Indigo Hill is served by the Douglas County School District . Saddle Ranch Elementary ; Ranch View Middle School ; ThunderRidge High School. There are several nearby private and charter school options including Valor Christian High School.
Shopping and Commuting
Everyone loves to shop. Indigo Hill is convenient to shopping at the Westridge shopping area which includes King Soopers grocery, a number of smaller specialty shops for everything from dining to pet supplies. There is a state motor vehicle department located in Westridge as well. Town Center is very close by as well.. These shopping centers include Michaels, Hallmark, Tattered Cover, various salons, Home Depot, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Office Max, Walgreens and much more. If you really want to do some major shopping, Indigo Hill is only about 15 minutes to Park Meadows Mall or around 15 minutes to the Aspen Grove outdoor shopping mall, both are regional favorites.
Commuting to and from Indigo Hill is pretty easy. RTD light rail is only about a 15 minute drive away of if you would rather drive into downtown Denver, expect around a 35 minute commute. Getting to the DTC area is about 20 minutes and out to Denver International Airport. will take around 45 minutes.
