Kentley Hills Neighborhood – Highlands Ranch, CO

Kentley Hills mapKentley Hills is a subdivision in the Southridge area of Highlands Ranch.  Within the geographic area of Kentley Hills lies the Lantern Hill neighborhood which is the area on the map to the left that is cut into the subdivision.  Kentley Hills is made up of homes from several different builders, ranging in size from around 1800-3700 square feet.  Most of the homes were built between the mid 1990’s and the early 2000’s.  Most of the floorplans are open and modern with plenty of space for everyone.  There are open space areas running through Kentley Hills and many homes that back to open space have  stunning views of the front range mountains and of the Denver city skyline.


Shopping and Recreation

Kentley Hills is nearly at the center of Highlands Ranch.  Therefore, access to most of the area shopping and recreation is nearby to residents.  Kentley Hills is a close drive to either the Eastridge shopping area and the Southridge shopping area.  Both have plenty of convenient grocery and specialty shops as well as a variety of dining.  Of course, the  Park Meadows Mall is a regional shopping favorite and only about 10 minutes away.  The open space within Kentley Hills has trails which connect throughout Highlands Ranch for residents to get out and enjoy.  Highlands Ranch Community Association provides a great deal of recreational opportunities at the close by Southridge Rec center or Eastridge rec center.  Of course, residents of Highlands Ranch can access any of the four recreation centers and all are within minutes of Kentley Hills.


Kentley Hills, like the rest of Highlands Ranch is part of the Douglas County School District.  Students in Kentley Hills attend  Summit View Elementary,Mountain Ridge Middle School and   Mountain Vista High School  There are plenty of nearby private and charter school opportunities as well including Valor Christian High School, only about 6-7 minutes away.


Commuters is Kentley Hills can easily access the RTD bus which runs along Wildcat Reserve Parkway.  There is a convenient RTD park and ride about 8 minutes away with access to the transportation system.  The RTD light rail is about 15 minutes either direction to the east side rails or the west side rails. Downtown Denver will take 30 minutes and Denver International Airport about 40 minutes.
